Heidi and Meg - Two Sisfurs

On October 21, 2012, I adopted two 4-1/2 month old kittens from my local Cat Rescue group, 13th Street Cats. Heidi and Meg were trapped together in the parking lot of a nearby High School by 13th Street Cat volunteers. They were probably feral kittens, but they were found in good health.

That's Meg (front) and Heidi (back) in their cat carrier, on their first day in the Forever Home. They were fostered by a volunteer who is now my cat sitter when I go out of town.

I wanted to adopt two litter mates, as they could keep each other company. I mostly work from home when I'm not travelling for work, so I do get to spend lots of time with them.

When they were smaller, they could share the same cat tower. However, they got too big for the single tower, so I bought a second one!

Heidi likes to keep me company, sitting on my desk.

When Heidi wants a cuddle, she'll simply roll over.

Meg loves to sleep with me, and can be frequently found on my bed.

Heidi is such a striking cat - she's really beautiful.

Meggie is adorable, but she can be quite naughty. She loves to knock objects off tables.

I definitely love my kittehs - they have brought great joy and comfort to me.

Hope you enjoyed the Kitteh pics and I promise to post more!

    1. They're almost full grown now - but still petite lady kittehs :)

    2. Love your kittehs and am so happy when you share their pictures on IG and Twitter. With you having gotten two together, it's making me regret that I didn't adopt two also. Hime chan is now not going to appreciate having another one come join the family.

  2. Kat I know what you mean - that's why I got two litter mates - it can be so hard to socialize two un-related cats. Tommy was king kitteh and would not stomach any other cats, lol!

  3. Aw... I love cats. I keep hoping one day I'll have time to devote myself to pets but not at the moment. They look just gorgeous. I have a thing about stroking kitty tummies.
