A Trip to Gilroy Premium Outlets

On Memorial Day, Cat and I decided to take a road trip to the Gilroy Premium Outlets. Was it worth the trip! It's a huge shopping center - 145 stores spread out across 3 different building complexes.

We had lunch at Applebees - not exactly gourmet eating, but OK. The Green Bean Crispers were very good, though.

I had an Appetizer Trio with the Boneless Wings, Brew Pub Pretzels with Beer Cheese Dip and the Grilled Chicken Won Ton Tacos. After having a cup of the Chicken Tortilla Soup, I couldn't finish up the appetizers!

We then made our way to the Gap Outlet. Everything in the store was 50% off - the same was true of J. Crew and Banana Republic. I got two pairs of shorts and two sun hats.

Here's Cat posing with a pink sweater with bows for Justine's benefit!

Even Lululemon was having a huge sale!

I got 70% off of this pair of shoes at the Cole Haan outlet. Incredible.

We stopped for a much-needed Starbuck's break. Around the corner, there was a huge line for the Coach Outlet's 65% off sale.

Yes, Hello Kitty with a machine gun. Only in California. The license plate frame was also Hello Kitty-themed.

Got an incredible deal on Tom Ford Black Orchid perfume - $48 for 30 ml.

At Off Sak's 5th I got a pair of flip flops to go with my Natori beach cover up I got the previous day.

My two sun hats from the GAP - 2 for $25.

All in all, it was a very successful shopping expedition. Not something you'd like to do frequently, but definitely worth it on holiday weekends.

Cheers,

Jamilla

  1. How lovely! I went there a couple of times when I lived in Palo Alto in 1999-2000. You didn't go to the Cosmetics Company Outlet?
